Our travel health consultation fee is $85. The injection fee is waived if vaccines are given on the same day as your consultation. Follow-up injection visits are $30 plus vaccine cost. Travel consultations and vaccines are not covered by OHIP, though some private insurance plans may partially cover vaccine costs.

Yes. When you receive a yellow fever vaccination at our certified clinic, we issue the official International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP/ICV) — the yellow WHO booklet required for entry to many countries. We also provide written vaccine records for all other vaccinations administered at our clinic, which you can bring to future appointments or use for insurance documentation.
Bring your travel itinerary including destinations, duration, and planned activities. Also bring your medical history, any existing vaccination records, and a list of current medications including dosages. If you have private insurance, bring your insurance card or app as some plans partially cover vaccine costs.
A travel health consultation typically lasts between 15 to 60 minutes depending on your destination and health history. During that time we review your travel plans, medical history, vaccination needs, and provide any same-day vaccines when possible. Book your consultation now.
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks before departure. Some vaccines require multiple doses spaced weeks apart — starting early gives you the most options. That said, we also see last-minute travellers and will do everything possible to protect you even if you’re leaving soon.
While pharmacists in Ontario can administer some common travel vaccines, they can’t prescribe anti-malarials, administer yellow fever vaccinations, or conduct a destination-specific risk assessment. A dedicated travel health clinic covers all of it in one visit — specialist advice, specialty vaccines, and take-home prescriptions.
Ideally at least 2 weeks before departure so your body has time to build immunity. Even if you’re leaving sooner, getting vaccinated still offers some protection and is worthwhile. The full two-dose series — or Twinrix for Hep A + B combined — provides long-term protection for future trips as well.
The yellow fever vaccine cost depends on current vaccine supply pricing. Contact us or book a consultation for current pricing. We are a certified yellow fever vaccination centre and can issue the official International Certificate of Vaccination required for entry to many countries.
Japanese encephalitis is a mosquito-borne viral infection found in rural Asia and parts of the Western Pacific. The vaccine is recommended for travellers spending extended time in rural or agricultural areas of affected regions. It is not needed within Canada but is available at our travel health clinic for Canadians travelling abroad.
Yes. Saudi Arabia requires proof of meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccination for all pilgrims travelling for Umrah or Hajj. The certificate must be issued no more than 3 years before arrival. We administer MenACWY and provide the required documentation. Book well ahead of your pilgrimage, especially during peak season.
Hepatitis A vaccine protects against Hepatitis A only. Twinrix is a combination vaccine that protects against both Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B in a single shot — ideal for travellers who need coverage for both. Twinrix requires three doses over six months for full protection, though an accelerated schedule is available. We can advise which is right for your trip.
Yes — Hepatitis A and typhoid vaccines are commonly given together and are safe to administer in the same visit. A combined Hepatitis A and typhoid vaccine (Vivaxim) is also available, providing both protections in a single injection. We can advise on the best option based on your travel timeline and destination.
